Celebrating Our Student’s Victory at GIBC 2025!

We are thrilled to share an incredible achievement from The Dance Stories! The Great Indian Ballet Competition (GIBC), launched in December 2018, is India’s most exclusive ballet competition. Organized by Mumbai’s Indian Ballet Boutique (IBB), GIBC aims to promote and strengthen the Indian ballet community on a global stage.

This year, our student Dewansh Acharya made us proud by achieving 1st place at GIBC in the Modern/Contemporary Solo (Junior Category) with a performance choreographed by Salim.

In addition to this remarkable accomplishment, Dewansh also received two prestigious scholarships—one from the National Ballet Academy in New York and another from the Singapore Ballet Academy.

A huge congratulations to Dewansh for this outstanding achievement! His dedication, hard work, and passion for dance continue to inspire us all.
